Hi, my name is Albert. I am from Taiwan, the Formosa. Though Taiwan is just a small island (The total area is 14,000 square miles/ 36,000 square kilometers, slightly larger than Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island combined), it is the 14th largest trader and the 18th largest economic unit in the world (1996). Taiwanese are diligent and friendly. Don't fotget to visit the National Palace Museum and National Parks when you are there!

I grew up in a small city with a population of 67,000 in central Taiwan. When I was a kid, my house's backyard was adjacent to crop fields. I always can remember the scenes I put in my deep mind since childhood that a field of rice crops waved in the wind, diligent farmers wearing broad-brimmed hats worked hard from sunrise to sunset, and children without wearing shoes played and traced each other in the fields. It's a special feeling to the land, and my root.

I got my Bachelor of Business Administration at the Chinese Culture University in Taipei, and graduated with a Master of Science degree from Indiana University - Bloomington, one of the Big Ten schools. IU is a very nice school with a beautiful campus. Bloomington is also a charming and cultural college town. I enjoyed being a Hoosier.

After leaving Indiana, I stayed eight months in San Antonio, Texas, the home of the famous Alamo, the River Walk, and the San Antonio Missions.

Now, I am living and working in Taipei.

I have great passions for traveling, especially self-made overseas trips. The countries I have visited include USA, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Japan, China, Korea, Indonesia, Thailand and Mexico. I also enjoy the Nature, photography, music, historical sites, museums, National Geographic magazines, gardening, world cultures, and swimming.

You are also very welcomed to visit my best friend - Peter
