I.John Hooper alias Cooke - Born about 1530-1540. He was a merchant by profession. His will probated, 27 June 1577. He m. 17 June 1559, Elizabeth (or Isabel) Coggin dau. of Nicholas Cogan of Chard. She was bur. 30 May 1579, Crewkerne.

B.George Cooke - Bpt. 6 Mar. 1561/2 Crewkerne. A minor in 1577. He m. 21 Feb. 1595/6, Crewkerne, to Alice Cossens. She was bpt. 25 Nov. 1571, Crewkerne, the dau. of Roger and Edith Cossens. She was bur. there 2 July 1597. He m. (2) 11 Dec. 1597 Crewkerne to Edith Clarke. She was bur. 10 Feb. 1.642/3, Crewkerne

C. Robert Cooke - A minor in 1577. He was bur. 29 Aug. 1597, Crewkerne. He had son, Samuel, bpt. there 14 Aug. 1597. Robert Cooke, mercer of Crewkerne, left a will in 1597 (PCC 115 COBHAM) and names brothers and sisters, including his sister, Agnes Warham (Ref: TAG 65:122). He was buried 29 Aug. 1597. He had a son Samuel, bpt. 14 Aug. 1597. He also mentions his UNCLE JAMES TRASKE [NOTE: James Traske was married to Margaret Cogan, dau. of Nicholas Cogan of Chard]

d. John Cooke, the elder - A minor in 1577. His will , prob. 1600 (PCC 77 WALLOPP).

f. Rose Hooper - Bpt. 5 1563, Crewkerne. Her father was named, John Hooper or Gyll. She possibly died young.

g. Rose Hooper - Bpt. 5 Dec. 1566. A minor in 1577.

h. Alice Hooper - Bpt. 13 Dec. 1575, Crewkerne. She m. _______Knewstubb.

i. John Hooper - Bpt. 27 Oct. 1572, Crewkerne. Not mentioned in 1577 will.

II. Agnes Hooper - Bpt. 5 Oct. 1562, Crewkerne, Somerset. She was the Agnes Cook alias Howper who married Richard Warham, 14 Oct. 1588 in Crewkerne. They were the parents of Rev. John Warham.
