Mr. and Mrs. Quince Meairs, Mr. and Mrs Fred Meairs and Wilma drove to Wichita last Tuesday to attend the funeral of Wilma's brother Clair.

Clair F. Meairs, employee of Jackson Walker Coal Company for nine years, died at his home, 3928 North Arkansas Avenue Wichita Kansas, Tuesday night May 21. He was 29 years 1 month and 29 days old. Mr. Meairs was survived by his wife, Edna; two brothers, Clive and Archie of Wichita, and four sisters, Mrs. Francis Langton and Virgie Meairs of Wichita, Mrs. John Archibald of Garden City, and Wilma Meairs of Waverly.

Funeral services were conducted from the Mueller Mortuary at 10:30 A. M. Tuesday May 23, with the Reverend W. E. Mc Coy officiating. The body was taken to Yates Center, Kansas for burial, beside his father and mother who had preceded him in death.
