All reservations made ahead of the check-in date should be cancelled at least 14 days before the check-in date during peak period and five days during off-peak periods. Deposits will only be refunded if reservations are cancelled within the given period. Depostis for reservations cancelled on the same day of arrival will not be refunded. In addition, a deposit for accommodation for one day is the full cost for the room. The hotel will reserve rooms for those guests who pay a deposit on their bookings. For those bookings made without deposits, Melbourne Inn may rent that room to any customer who pays for the same room before the previous customer checks in. For those reservations which are not cancelled within the stipulated date, the customer must pay a service charge of 50% of the total charge during peak period and 40% during off-peak periods. A service charge of 30% is applicable for those guests who check into the hotel but decide against staying soon after. |
