Eugene T. Mahoney State Park
Eugene T. Mahoney State Park overlooks the picturesque
valley of the Platte River near Ashland. Managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks
Commission, this premier 574 acre park is open year-round. Accommodations
include 41 modern housekeeping cabins, as well as 40 guest rooms at the Peter
Kiewit Lodge. For campers, the Little Creek and Lakeside campgrounds offer 149
spacious pads. Park activities include a pool and slide complex, conservatory,
driving range, fishing, trail rides, paddleboats, various sports, and nature
