I love when the family gets together. My husband & I have 5 children. We have 18 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild. Most all live nearby - except Zachary and he lives in Heaven since the age of 33 months old. Our family gets together for all major holidays. It sometimes seems hectic, but I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Meme's Family

My husband and I both come from nice size families. He grew up in a family of 3 boys (including him) and 4 girls.

I grew up in a family of 4 boys and 3 girls (including myself). One sister died before I was born, otherwise there would have been 4 of us girls.

When my husband and I got married, we wanted 12 kids ourselves. He changed his mind after a few years. Unfortunately, I had to change my mind, not because of my husband, but it was my doctor's advice. (I always thought the doctor and my husband were in kahoots! - haha : ) Actually, it was for the benefit of my health.

We both grew up in the country. Larry on 160 acres, me on 1 acre. We both attended the same high school.

We live in the country, but it is in a small subdivision. It is still better than living in town, at least for us.
