Many single parents with children face financial struggles when it comes to meeting their monthly financial obligations. Obligations such as utility payments, rent payments, and keeping food on the table. The Margaret Elizabeth Orris Charitable Foundation has been established to help single parents with children who meet the following criteria:
1. Must be either a single Mother OR Father.
2. Parent must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Must have at least one child.
4. Child must be living with the parent.
5. Child must be attending school if child is of proper school age.
6. Parent must first
A) Apply for existing financial assistance programs for which they qualify,
B) Have exhausted the funds for which they have applied,
C) Or have been denied assistance because they do not meet the criteria for the program to which they have applied.
