From The ShipList, The barque Calphurnia, 671 tons (722 new tons), Captain James Nicholson, from London 1st December 1848 & Plymouth 10th December 1848, arrived at Port Adelaide, South Australia 28th March 1849 . . passengers landed 2nd April 1849. Included in the government emigrants in the steerage, 113 male adults, 98 female adults, 43 male children & 40 female children, are three surnamed Bleechmore, Edward, James and Joseph Edwin aged 17, an Agr Labourer. Can not pinpoint Caroline Louise Rogers.

Jonah Britnell 1806 - 1872 #8700 aged 66, son of Mary Slaughter (death certificate should have been Charlotte Rush) and Jonah Britnell, and Mary Ann Green 1806 - 1868 #8128 aged 62, daughter of Mary Bowden and John Green, both born in Buckinghamshire, came to Victoria before 1851. Mary Ann was baptised at Holy Trinity Church of England, Pentridge (now Coburg) and the family was living at 'Darebun Creek'
