Using the new details from Alan,
Thomas Davey wed 1863 #283 to Mary Roberts Hall and she died 1870 #8417 aged 25, daughter of Margaret and Thomas Hall of Cornwall. A possible brother is Thomas Hall died 1875 #6585 aged 33 son of Margaret Roberts and Thomas Hall of Cornwall.
Margaret Hall died 1869 #399 aged 66, daughter of Margaret and Henry Roberts of Cornwall, and a possible match for Thomas is the death at Ballarat 1861 #8952 aged 63 of Thomas, son of Margaret and John.
Thomas Davey from St Justs wed 1871 #2701 to Louisa Thomas born in Cornwall, and lived at Ballarat then Timor

More from the second Barbara, married to Alan
Hello again, Elizabeth,
Firstly, there were many, many DAVEYS in St. Just-in-Penwith -
all knew one another, were possibly related to one another, attended the Methodist Chapel, lived in and near the same streets, and probably worked in the mines. My gt. grandfather was quite important in the mining
scene in Victoria.
My Emails go out under my husband's name Alan Gray, but my name is Barbara (confusing as your other contact is also Barbara.
Anyway, I've looked up my Thomas's parents -
father: Noah, chr. 4 Nov. 1793, d. Apr. 1854. St. Just.
mother: Mary OATS, b. 1798, d.Dec. 1857, St. Just.
NOAH and MARY were married 16 May 1818, St. Just.
There were 10 children of the marriage.
1. Mary b. 1818, d. 1906, B'rat. M. Richard TREMBATH.
2. Peggy b.1820.
3. Noah b. 1823 d. 1889, m.Mary WILLIAMS.
4. Richard b. 1824, d. 1878 B'rat. M. Elizabeth HOCKING.
5. Michael b. 1826, d. 1918 Vic.M. Margaret REYNOLDS.
6. William b. 1826.
7. James b. 1831, d.1899, Vic. M. Margaret O'MEALLY.
8. Charles b. 1834, d. 1919 B'rat. M. Elizabeth LANYON.
9. Jane Oats, b. 1835.
10. Thomas b. 25 Mar. 1837, St.Just-in-Penwith, Cornwall. d. Maryborough, Vic. 1916.
I see you are interested in shipping arrivals - Thomas came to Australia (Melbourne) with his brothers Charles and Michael (and I
think his sister Mary), on the "Marco Polo" arriving 1856.
Louisa THOMAS arrived on the "Conflict" in 1868.
I don't know if any of the above helps you fit in your
THOMAS DAVEY, or just adds to the confusion. Regards, Barbara Gray
