G,day to all of you out there. My name is MICHAEL NALDER and I have been eavesdropping in on you for a week and have decided to step into the light.
My family arrived in this country aboard the ship CARLETON on the 9/7/1857 at the port of GEELONG.
The family consisted of the following persons

Missing from this family is JAMES twin to JOHN who died age 1 years by falling and hitting his head against a table and JOHN who died age 4 years pined away for his twin. (verbal family history )
MARY BATT NALDER did not survive the boat journey and was buried at sea and her death registered at Geelong - 1858 #1869.
JOHN NALDER died within a year of arrival in Australia ( still investigating his birth and death).

Mike reports -
I tracked down Elizabeth Ann Dean nee Nalder firstly to Western Australia and then to South Africa and was able to gather death marriage and birth notices for that branch of the tree. It seams that Benjamin Dean died in Western Australia in 1893 and his widow Elizabeth imigrated to South Africa with her son James's family dying at the age of 86 in Durban, South Africa.
