Our children are precious treasures,
That make our life more sublime.
They come in the world helpless babies,
For us to give loving care all the time.

They will surly grow and prosper,
As we give them their daily care.
In return we receive back the love,
They so willingly do share.

It seem they grow up much to fast,
A child to an adult before our eyes.
Then they leave to go on their way,
Facing whatever in life may arise.

We then must trust they have learned
All the lessons we have tried to teach.
While God is always there to help,
With those goals they wish to reach.

So treasure your children everyday,
They are our most valuable of gifts.
Now we have completed our task,
Their role from child to parent now shifts.

This poem I dedicate to all parents.
Our Children are the greatest gift of all.
May God bless you and your treasures.
