I
dreamed I was stranded
On a tropical island
with you.
Life was much more simpler
There
was so many fun things to do.
We
snuggled much closer as the
Winds blew and the
ocean swelled.
We knew that this beautiful
place
Had many romantic stories to
tell.
That bright full moon shined at
night
With a beauty that inspired our love.
Many animals made a home with us
Their
friendliness like a peaceful dove.
I
didn’t want to wake up from this,
My dream
with this lovely fantasy.
I wish our troubled
world had beauty
Like my tropical island will
forever be.
