Just one moment in time
Can change your life as you know it.
In a brief second something happens
That causes your existence to split.

When you get up on that morning
Everything seems to be just routine.
Then as the day goes by it happens,
Something you had never foreseen.

Now you are no longer the same.
This has changed you in some way.
Those around you may also be altered
By this very unexpected dismay.

Now you must pick up the pieces
Because your life must go on.
You family and friends will be there
Making sure you are never alone.

You can also go to God in prayer,
Knowing that He will always be there.
His touch can heal your troubled soul,
While letting you know He really cares.

You need to live every moment of life
As if it could be your very last.
Because in this ever changing world
Things in our lives can be altered so fast.
