He gives me those sandpaper kisses
Every night and everyday.
I know that’s because he loves me
In his own special way.
I feel scratchy little kisses
At night when I’m trying to sleep.
But that just shows he loves me
When he licks me on my feet.
In the daytime he will often
Curl up while lying on my lap.
All I can hear is his loud purring
Before he takes his nap.
He is just so incredibly loveable,
And a quite handsome guy.
I know I love him more everyday,
His devotion for me is why.
Tiger is my devoted cat and upon me
Sandpaper kisses he does impart.
Having him for those five years has left
His paw prints on my heart.
