Springtime in Texas,
Is bluebonnet time.
Blooming along the roadside
In the bright sunshine.

Folks stopping by the road
Taking a look at the view.
As God’s exquisite work
Make it’s yearly debut.

Bluebonnets are a special sight,
That last only a few short weeks.
So you better get going on that drive,
To behold that beauty you seek.

You can stop to take some pictures,
And you might just pick a few.
Take them home to your loved one,
Who will surely thank you.

I love those pretty wildflowers,
So I must savor these days.
They don’t last very long,
Then the bluebonnets go away.

Spring is my favorite time of the year.
I love to see those beautiful Texas
Bluebonnets along the roadside every year.
