Give Thanks!

We must give thanks unto the Lord,
For all the blessings of this past year.
While we glorify Him for our family
And our friends, that we hold so dear.



As we gather for our Thanksgiving meal,
Reflecting on the year that has passed.
We have made it through this years trials,
Because His love for mankind has surpassed.



I wish you have a very happy holiday,
From way down deep in my heart.
I hope for you a very prosperous year,
These are the sincere feeling I do impart.



Thanksgiving is not just about a historical event,
When the pilgrims and Indians together ate.
Because it has evolved into a yearly event,
When we all give thanks and ponder our fates.



Remember those who are unfortunate,
Please pray for their situations to improve.
Ask God, with all His mercy, that all their
Hunger, homelessness, and sickness be removed.



Also pray for all the peoples of the earth,
That they may learn how to achieve peace.
Then I think everyday would be Thanksgiving,
If the world’s hatred and killings would cease.



So my dear friends on this Thanksgiving day,
I shall be thankful for knowing all of you.
I will pray you have a good coming year,
My hope is for all your wishes to comes true.
