These boots are made for walking,
That’s just what their going to do.
I’m tired of your deceitful ways,
Going to walk right out on you.

I remember a time when we first met,
When your words was sweet as wine.
Then you told me you would love me
Forever, until the end of time.

I believed your words to be true,
Didn’t know you’re just a smooth talker.
Your pretty words seemed to flow,
With the freedom of a stream of water.

As some time went by, I began to see,
A side you were attempting to conceal.
You would do something that showed me,
Everything you were saying wasn’t real.

Now I’m so tired of hearing all your lies,
Because Buddy, now I see through you.
I have just given you that last chance,
To prove truthfulness you can pursue.

So these boots are made for walking,
Leaving you is what I’m going to do.
I have listened to your very last lie,
And I am walking right out on you.
