7.1.1.1. An individual, on behalf of themselves or a group residing within a specific geographical area, may register a band by submitting a written "Notice of Intent to Establish a Band of the Metis Nation of the South" to the Office of Vital Records
7.2. Clans
7.2.1. Registration of a Clan
7.2.1.1. A family may register a clan by submitting a written "Notice of Intent to Establish a Clan of the Metis Nation of the South" to the Office of Vital Records.
