BULDING THE FUTUREChapter VI. Decision-MakingGroup Problem SolvingDecision making in a group is challenging since the more people involved in the process, the more demands and expectations there are. a group situation.
Rate Your TeamRate your group's most recent problem-solving session by the characteristics on the scale below.Circle the appropriate number on each scale to represent your evaluation. If your team filled in this form individually, add up the scores and identify the two items with the lowest scores. As a group, discuss the lowest scoring areas or problem items and identify five action steps that could help the group improve in these two areas. SummaryWith open communication and someone to initiate the problem-solving process, decisions can be made in a group. Remember that solving problems, like playing baseball, it gets easier with practice.
