Happy to announce the (Impromptu) marriage of KMM and BF in Liberty New York on the 25th day of August 1998. This wedding was witnessed by many soldiers from the 124th N.Y.,2nd Michigan Company A and many more. The wedding happened aproximately at 1am. The bride was quite excited and was looking for something new,blue borrowed and whatever that last one is. On behalf of the 2nd Michigan Company "A". We are sad to announce that one of our own was seen in Liberty N.Y. disguised as a woman. We in the 2nd Michigan Company "A" believe that the disguise was to get out of the army. There is also the possibility he was a spy for the Confederacy. As is the case we in the 2nd Michigan V.I. Company "A" DO NOT approve of these actions and condem them very vigorously. We are proud to anounce that one of our members is now giving Combat Driving lessons to anyone interested. On this coarse you will learn how to drive vehicles at very high speeds on highway at night without using head lights. For more information please contact us. We at the 2nd Michigan are sad to announce that a rifle was dropped as a member was running away from the Rebel Yell at the Montreal Event last week-end. But that is not what we are ashamed of. It was the fact that the member must be suffering from re-enacters burn-out because he ran away after the battle while the Confederates were giving us a cheer. The member was taken into the ambulance as he was running down Provincial Highway 40 heading towards Ottawa. We in Company "A" hope he will get the therapy he requires and will be back with us soon. The motion as been tabled after our meeting of October 3rd 1998 that every single member of the 2nd Michigan be taught Sign Language due to the problems of members communicating at FitzPatrick Pub with the waitresses.
