Leader to Division Commander
Like his father
before him, he answered the call.
Master
blaster, H.A.L.O., berets, green and black, earning both.
He served every
day, honoring his oath.
Three Silver Stars,
two Purple Hearts, adorn his chest,
Providing once
again, he’s one of our countries best.
He trained his
officers and men to fight and survive,
Wanting them to
serve, then go home alive.
Married to Holly, a
West Pointer, they have two teenage boys.
Now living the good
life, doing what he enjoys.
I want the boys to
know about the man they call dad,
He was one of the
finest soldiers this country ever had.
His creed was
simple, “The Best By Test.”
He lead, he taught,
he freed the oppressed.
From day one to
this, he is still honor bound.
No finer officer,
diplomat or mentor could be found.
