Ginuwine (born Elgin Lumpkin) is a Washington, DC-based contemporary soul artist who released his debut album, Ginuwine: The Bachelor, to great acclaim in the fall of 1996, which featured the worldwide smash hit "Pony". 100% Ginuwine followed three years later, generating the hit "So Anxious." Another monumental effort The Life was issued in early 2001, featuring the hit "Differences". Then in 2003, The Senior released, followed by Back II Da Basics in late 2005.
