Where we stayed: Sonesta Resort Hotel.
The Sonesta Resort had its own boat that departed from the hotel lobby and went to the Hotel's private island, Sonesta Island.
One of the two beaches on Sonesta Island. Clothes were optional on this beach.
The island's resident birds
The view of the docks from the hotel.
The Divi Divi tree is a common sight in Aruba. The south-westerly trade winds shape this species of tree so that it always points in a south-westerly direction.
I don't know if these goats belonged to anyone.
Luckily the firing range was not in use that day.
Aruba is a very dry island, yet the humidity (and temperature) is always very high.
The sand dunes on the NW coast.
