Now, here's
something to brag about!
It's one of the ways we
celebrate Halloween each year in New England.
Every year for the past nine
years, thousands of people got together in my home town to carve and put on display
the highest number of pumpkins in one place. In fact, Keene, NH holds the world
record as certified by the Guiness Book of World Records.
Last year the celebration
became a full-fledged festival. Over 50,000 people attended, one pumpkin carver even
came from Germany for the event! And, even though the city didn't break it's own
world record, many said it was the best ever.
Just imagine what this year's
festival will be, as it celebrates it's tenth anniversary............
