I still dance to the song that I sang for you
My lips still stained by your everlasting kiss
I still watch you every night when you go to sleep
That look of content when your dreaming I miss
I still blush when I think of you loving me
Butterflies flutter at the thought of your face
Still in a daze from you enchanting me
Our distance this will never erase
Even though you do not know it
I brush my fingers through your fiery hair

but your skin is still soft and so fair
I still stand beside you my darling
The back of my hand sweeps across your cheek
I try in vain to drink the tears from me leaving you
