A studio in the South Wales valleys will be transformed into Stuart's rock star pad, filled with personal memorabilia. The show will be packed with bands, famous guests, Cable unplugged sessions and much much more!!! 30 May 2002 After months of rumour, Stereophonics have confirmed that they will headline Slane 2002 on Saturday 24th August 2002. This performance will be the band's biggest ever show in Ireland, and it comes one week after their headlining slot at v2002. Stereophonics attended the official launch for Slane 2002, held in Dublin yesterday, 29th May 2002. Kelly Jones said at the launch: "You look at the legends who've headlined Slane and I think festival-wise, it's one of the biggest deals around and we're absolutely thrilled to be doing it." Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on 15th June. Support comes from Nickelback, Doves, Counting Crows and The Revs. 27 March 2002 Stereophonics are delighted to announce that they have won 'Best Band' at the Capital Radio Awards. The awards are taking place in at the Royal Lancaster hotel in London today. 24 February 2002 Stereophonics receive a golden record for Jeep at their awesome concert in Paradiso Amsterdam, The Netherlands. 18 february 2002: Stereophonics continue their awesome 2002 with the release of a new single, 'Vegas Two Times'. 'Vegas Two Times', the opening track from their Number 1, million-plus selling album 'Just Enough Education to Perform' will be released on April 1st. It is the first Phonics single to be made available on the DVD format, which contains a plethora of audio-visual features. On April 8th, a week after the release of 'Vegas Two Times' Stereophonics release their fouth full-lengt DVD and video, 'A Day At The Races'. Recorded at the band's sell-out Summer 2001 shows at Donington Racetrack and Cardiff Millennium Stadium, where they played in front of over 100,000 people, the DVD and Video feature 16 songs played live, backstage documentary footage, a photo gallery (DVD only) and more besides. |
