After months of rumour, Stereophonics have confirmed that they will headline Slane 2002 on Saturday 24th August 2002. This performance will be the band's biggest ever show in Ireland, and it comes one week after their headlining slot at v2002.

Stereophonics attended the official launch for Slane 2002, held in Dublin yesterday, 29th May 2002. Kelly Jones said at the launch: "You look at the legends who've headlined Slane and I think festival-wise, it's one of the biggest deals around and we're absolutely thrilled to be doing it."

Tickets go on sale at 9.00am on 15th June. Support comes from Nickelback, Doves, Counting Crows and The Revs.

Stereophonics continue their awesome 2002 with the release of a new single, 'Vegas Two Times'.

'Vegas Two Times',  the opening track from their Number 1, million-plus selling album 'Just Enough Education to Perform' will be released on April 1st.  It is the first Phonics single to be made available on the DVD format, which contains a plethora of audio-visual features.


On April 8th, a week after the release of 'Vegas Two Times' Stereophonics release their fouth full-lengt DVD and video, 'A Day At The Races'.

Recorded at the band's sell-out Summer 2001 shows at Donington Racetrack and Cardiff Millennium Stadium, where they played in front of over 100,000 people, the DVD and Video feature 16 songs played live, backstage documentary footage, a photo gallery (DVD only) and more besides.
