*Saturday December 20, 2003- Wade, playing on the blue line for only the second time this season, gets his first point! A goal! At 8:31 of the 3rd period, at the ACC against Montreal on Hockey Night in Canada, Wade banged in a rebound to tie up the game, as the Leafs would move on to win 4-2. He played an amazing game, With not only reporters, but players also stating that he should have been one of the game's 3 Stars. *November 20 2003- The Leafs lose for the last time in over a month (so far). They lose to the Edmonton Oilers but begin a 9 game winning streak and 14 game unbeaten streak (again, so far). Also, Wade injures his abdominal muscle and will sit out then next 8 games. Also, Alex Mogilny undergoes hip surgery and will be out until mid-February. *Thursday October 2, 2003- Robert Reichel and Travis Green were not put on the protected list. No one was really surprised about Reichel but even Green was shocked to find himself unprotected. He's a whiz in the faceoff circle, but apparently they're expecting to lose him in order to make the lower the average age of the team. *Friday October 3, 2003- 1) Bryan Mccabe has arthroscopic knee surgery, which was rumored to have gone well, and will be out for 4-6 weeks. 2) Green was picked up by the Columbus Blue Jackets and was immediately traded to Boston for a 6th round pick. *Friday August 29, 2003- The Leafs name John Ferguson as their new GM. He is the 12th GM in Maple Leaf history. The 36 year old most recently was the director of hockey operations for the St. Louis Blues organization.
