I believe that all students are
capable of learning challenging material. I also believe that information
must be presented in various ways to accomodate individual learning styles;
frequent assessment using multiple tools is necessary to monitor student
progress. This includes visual and auditory examples, hands-on activities,
and problem-based learning. Students are assessed using traditional
pencil-and-paper tests, homework, projects, group collaboration, and in-class
participation. I also believe that school should be a fun, safe place for
each and every child.
