Eerie Queerie was first published in 1999 under the name Ghost! by Shuri Shiozu under Shinshokan puslishing Co. Ltd. Tokyo Japan. In March of 2004, Vol. 1 of Eerie Queerie was published into the United States by TOKYOPOP Inc. Los Angeles USA. Normally, TOKYOPOP releases running manga series every two months. Accordingly, Vol. 2 came in May, then Vol. 3 in July, and finally Vol. 4 September.

Eerie Queerie is read right to left. Most of the action words are left where they are, a few with the translation beside it, others without. Several things that Japanese would know and others would not include an editor's note explaining.
