If you have found this page, then chances are you are on the same journey as me. =) My struggles with weight began when I was a small child. As far back as I can remember, I have always been the "fat girl". I can remember being on a diet when I was 8 years old! I would lose weight on and off through the years, but I was never what you would call skinny. It wasn't until I reached adulthood that I really started to lose weight. Mostly due to the fact that I had little or no money for food, and had to walk about 2 miles a day to get to and from work. I went from a size 14 down to a size 10 in about 3 months. That was the smallest I'd ever been. I still thought I was fat though. I guess that mindset is hard to get rid of once you've had it so long. After I got more established financially and moved in with my boyfriend at the time, I started to put on weight again. I still didn't have good eating habits. Most of the time I just ate whatever he ate, and believe me, it wasn't healthy food either! That trend continued throughout the next few years, and this is where you find me today! I am currently following the Weight Watchers plan. So far it is flexible enough to let me eat whatever I want. I also have the support of my wonderful husband and family. :) I am going to try and post as many useful websites as i can find, along with my own progress.
