Heaven is dreamed of, and hoped for, by millions of people. Yet it is a place sometimes mis-understood, thus a brief look for our benefit.
There will not be any crying. Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes..
Death will not even be a thought. Revelation 21:4 and there shall be no more death..
No more sorrow. Revelation 21:4 ..neither sorrow...
Crying will be gone. Revelation 21:4 ...nor crying...
Painless life for all there. Revelation 21:4 ....neither shall there be any more pain....
Nor Will There Be Any of These....
Those that fear men more than God. Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, ..
Doubters will not be welcome. Revelation 21:8 ...and unbeleivers...
Nor the loathesome. Revelation 21:8 ...and the abominable....
Killers. Revelation 21:8 ...and murderers...
Adulterers. Revelation 21:8 ....and whoremongers...
Psychics look out. Revelation 21:8 .....and sorcerers.....
No idol worship there. Revelation 21:8 ....and idolaters....
Lying forbidden. Revelation 21:8 .....and all liars....
...shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
But those in heaven will receive
Water of Life. Revelation 21:6 I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely
At home with the Father. Revelation 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son (or daughter).
An Important Note for Consideration. You may have heard "Speak where the Bible speaks, and be silent where the Bible is silent." God himself gives us an illustration for important matters. Deuteronomy 17:3 reveals God speaking through Moses to the Children of Israel saying: "And hath gone and served other Gods, and worshiped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;" God observing silence of His own words, scriptures.
The plan for being saved.
Hear and/or study the Word of God - Romans 10:17 - So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by [from] the word of God.
Believe - Marke 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Repent - Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but except ye repent ye shall all likewise perish. See also Acts 2:38 and Acts 8:37.
Confess - Acts 8:37 And Philip said [to the eunuch], If thous believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he [the eunuch] answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Baptism - Acts 8:38 And he [the eunuch] commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he [Philip] baptized him.
Then added to the kingdom - Acts 2:47b And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
Our duty then - Revelation 2:10c be thou faithful [includes obedience to His word] unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
