Welcome to Model East the online home of the IPMS Queensland's club magazine! This site was created for the express reason of storing photographs of our club members efforts, kit reviews by club members and a home for Model East the IPMS North Brisbane club magazine. Model East is normally a bi-monthly publication of what's happening at our club and what news from the net our members might be interested in, plus kit reviews and competition results from our bi-monthly club competition. First some background on IPMS Queensland: IPMS Queensland was formed on the 16th January 1991 by Jim Dorsett and Dale Slight mainly because of the travel time and distance involved in going to the other major modelling club in the Brisbane area BSM (Brisbane Scale Modellers) located on the south side of Brisbane. Like BSM, IPMS Qld encourages all genre's of scale modelling. Aircraft and Cars are the most popular subject however we do have a contingent of Armour, Figure, SciFi & some really good all round modellers To check out what is on this site, please select a link to go to from the links on the above.
