Modern Day Revelation is a heavy RP guild with a Storyline that revolves primarily around an RP religion which, in turn, revolves around the receipt of Revelations. We will accept anyone of any race, class, or level. You should also have some reason for joining a church of light if you are a warlock, rogue, or other generally "dark" charachter. The philosophy that you reap what you sow is very true in our guild, as there is virtually unlimited roleplay and guild involvement potential for those who seek it. If you are confused about what to do with your life, you are not alone. The churches of Azeroth have turned their backs on the plain and precious truth of Revelation. The elders of the Order of Paladins have abandoned the holy ways of their founder, becoming corrupt and abusive in their use of Revelation, thusly, they have discontinued it.
One day, while walking through the woods, the Prophet Eyevann, a paladin, and former member of the Order set down by Uther the Lightbringer, was visited by a being of Holy Light. The Light informed him that the churches of Azeroth had become institutions not in the following of the Light, and that a new one must be formed and built up. The church that was consequently founded was the Church of Modern Day Revelation. Eyevann received Revelations from the Light since that day. These revelations were, of course, recorded and can be found in the Church's collection of scrolls ((found here, in the "Revelations" section)). These blessed gifts earned Eyevann and the Church of Modern Day Revelation the animosity of many religious sects.Tragically, after several assasination attempts, the Prophet Eyevann lost his life defending the true Light and spreading truth.
Shortly after Eyevann's assassination,the members of his church fell out of contact with one another. Some went their separate ways while some clung, isolated to the little faith they had. Desperately trying to regroup and gain new believers, The Church of Modern Day Revelation currently continues Eyevann's work and awaits the Light's next Prophet. The fundamental tenets of belief for the Church of Modern Day Revelation is as follows:

-We believe that we have retrieved the Plain and Precious gift of Revelation, through our prophet.
