Progress, slow, but progress non-the-less...This time it's in the engine compartment. The shock towers had some fairly significant rot holes. The passengers' side was worse than the drivers' side, but, of course, I didn't get any of the "before" images today. I'll have to go back through my other images to see if I have any... |
Again, no "pre" shot of the rear window tray but all of the shiny spots were holes. Since this panel is not available, I MIG welded all of the holes. This was not as bad as I thought actually. The entire panel took about an hour and a half to become one again. |
Ah yes, the engine compartment...yeah...I think the pictures speak for themselves. I use small patch pieces from the door of ???? where I could, everywhere else is just more MIG Magic...The image on the Left is the driver's side after a couple of small spots. The image on the Right is what the Passengers' side looks like after four small filler pieces and some more MIG Magic... |
