Wise/Wyse Family

David S. Wise born abt.1846 married Frances Jefferson born abt. 1851. They married June 30, 1868 in Haywood county Tennessee. They are found on the 1880 Lake county Tennessee census.

David S. Wise age 34 born Mo. both parents b. in Kentucky Frances wife age 29 Sarah "Sally" daughter age 10 Leven R. son age 7 Willie A. daughter age 4 Alice daughter age 2

Lev Reedie Wyse b.Jan. 19, 1873 d. March 5, 1954. Sally Wyse b. about 1874 d. 1941-42 Willie Ann Wyse b.June 12, 1875 d. Feb. 11, 1950 Possibly more siblings,but are unknown

Sally Wyse married James Monroe Reynolds(brother of Maggie Reynolds) They are buried at the Elon Cemetery in Lauderdale county Tennessee.

As far as we can tell Sally didn't have children. Sally's step-children were: These would be the children of James Monroe Reynolds and Martha Jane Curtis.

Lev Reedie Wyse married Margaret "Maggie" Leona  Reynolds b. July 4, 1873 d. Oct. 21, 1952. They lived in Lauderdale county Tennessee. Both buried in the Halls Cemetery in Halls, Tennessee.

Children of Lev and Maggie Reynolds Wyse are:

Arthur b. d. Annie Grace b. d. Robert b. d. Elbert b. d. James Lev b. d.

NOTE. The reason I have this family as Wise/Wyse is because the last name was originally spelled WISE. Was told by several family members that James Lev change the spelling to WYSE. The other Wise also changed the spelling. For reasons unknown to me.
