It has been awhile but Toby is adjusting to being our doggie king. The road hasn't been without bumps as due to his situation Toby does have some baggage to work out for one due to being kept in a cage he isn't completely house broke and he is a nervous chewer and will literally eat anything in sight. I have never seen a small dog with the jaw power this one has. So we go through LOTS of pig ears and toys as I have only found 3 he hasn't eaten yet one that Kat sent called a ruffigan and a ball and dumbell made of solid rubber that he hasn't destroyed yet though he took the sqeakers and bell out of them. LOL!
He and the cats still have some fights as they all think they are the top one. Except for the kitten that Toby resued a couple of months ago. They are buddies and play continuosly! I can't wait till next fall when I will be able to give him a yard to run in instead of just walks. I am adding a more recent pic of him and I know he needs a hair cut and will be tackling that one soon. He had been out playing with the kids and needs brushed as well but hey a dog is a dog and they get their fur mussed and dirty if they are allowed to be a dog!
It funny his black hair grows quicker than his white and right now as its 1/4 inch longer he reminds me of one of those black fuzzy posters where you color the white between the black velvet. LOL! |
