NeoGreen -- Politics
Why Green Politics?

The rich are getting richer; the disparity between the richest and the poorest Americans is increasing as real wages for workers decrease.  Businesses have managed to acquire the status of persons, and therefore have been accorded the rights granted to individuals, though they have deeper pockets and far more person-hours to maintain their holdings than does any real individual.  Both major American political parties are indelibly beholden to big business.  And we are engaged in an immoral war with support on both sides of the political aisle.

The Prez of the U.S. is busy trying to privatize (profitize) the remnants of the
American safety net at the expense of the populace, while selling off the arctic to the highest oil bidders.  But is the alleged opposition party really any different?  The Dems waffle between being spineless (let's challlenge nominee Roberts by faint criticism followed by boisterous applause for his team sports loyalties!) and being Even Better Republicans than Them Who Izz (Kerry's proud, xenophobic toughness on the Iraq issue).
