FriendsText Box: August 23, 2004 It has been a real busy month. Donald and Kaleb both are playing football for the YMCA and Donald's team is the 49ers tackle and Kaleb's is the Hawkeye's for flag. We have been real busy practicing and having fund raisers for uniforms. once they have all of it there will be lots of pictures!!! YEA  Kay and I did peaches, LOTS AND LOTS! LOL but it will be worth it later. We made jams, peach halfs, quarters, pie filling and juice... did lots of canning. July 7, 2004 Today was the funeral.  It has been a long hard time.  Thank you to every one for their condolences and prayers.  July 2, 2004 Well really bad news.  The 3 day weekend in Michigan turned into a week.  The drive up there was fine .  Saturday though My father in-law ended up transported to a hospital up there for sugar problems and low pulse and all.  Sunday he seemed like he was going to be fine.  Monday it started to go down hill.  (Monday was his 68th Birthday).  He got vented on Tuesday night and his kidneys shut down on the Wednesday morning.  They life flighted him to a bigger hospital.  In the flight he went into shock and they couldn't get him to come back to us.  He passed away on us one June 30, 2004.  It was a really sad trip home with coming home with only 7 instead of 8.  Max, his dog, also died on Thursday.  God didn't want dad to be lonely I guess. June 25-27, 2004 We are off to take my in-laws up to see My sister in-law up in Michigan.  Kids are going camping with the cousins up there.  It is going to be one long ride up there.  All 4 kids.  6 including my hubby and his dad.  Mom and I are going to have our hands full.  Keep her and I in your prayers. June 20, 2004 Happy fathers day to all you dad's out there!  We are went to the farm for a bon fire Saturday night and On Sunday we cooked fillet minion on the grill and we had a homemade strawberry and banana  cake with fresh fruit and whipped cream!  Kids played outside and the adults enjoyed the air conditioning and the movie "50 First Dates" !  We had a blast! June 16, 2004 Our 3 year anniversary.  Wow you know some days it feels like yesterday and others it feels like 100 years.  LOL  Well we celebrated at the YMCA and had a ball.  Good food lots of laughs and very wet!  LOL  June 4,2004 Donald passed all of his proficiencies but 1.  he missed citizenship by 2 stinking points!  But he was passed on to the 5th grade and cot all B's and 1 C!  He was awarded lots of awards at the assembly today!  We are so proud of him! Kaleb was a Straight A student all year long.  Now that his ADHD is under control he is excelling at a rapid rate!  He was passed onto the 2nd grade!  Kaleb was also awarded with a bunch of honors today at the assembly!  Our buttons are popping in case you haven't noticed!
