Playgroups - Most groups meet weekly and are held at each member's home on a rotating schedule. Playgroups are formed by matching children of similar ages together.
MOMS Night Out - Each month, we plan one evening event for moms to get together.
Monthly Business Meetings - Each month, usually on the first Monday, a business meeting is conducted by the club president to update members on club news. At some meetings we may have a guest speaker, as well as activities for the children.
Guest Speakers - From time to time, we invite a guest speaker to our monthly business meetings.
Community Service Projects - We perform many community service activities throughout the year. Some activities have included: making gifts for patients at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta; visiting nursing homes or extended care facilities; collecting gifts for Toys For Tots; and others.
Helping Hands - Meals are provided by moms for moms who need that little extra assistance, especially following the birth of a baby, an illness, or a personal loss.
Field Trips - We have outings for moms and their children. Just a few of these activities include a tour of our local fire station, a trip to an area farm, a day at the park, or maybe an ice cream social.
Monthly Newsletter - We publish a monthly newsletter which contains a calendar of the month's activities, a discussion of upcoming community service events, a letter from the club president, and other important information. The newsletters are emailed at the beginning of the month. Copies of the activity calendar is included in the newsletter.
