We like to get out and enjoy Phoenix's nice weather before summer really kicks in. In the past, we have visited some of the following parks around town:
the Railroad Park, Roadrunner Park, Lookout Mountain, Steele Indian School Park, Moon Valley Park, Tempe Splash Beach Park, etc.
Every family needs a macaroni piece of artwork! Craft projects have included: a sand picture (just in time for Mother's Day), scrapbooking, making a picture collage, tie dying, etc.
Moms need a break, too. That's why we have Moms Night Out once a month. In the past, we have gone to a movie, dinner, pottery painting, etc.
Themed outings have consisted of spring family picnic, a trip to one of the many museums in the area, the Phoenix Zoo and the Butterfly Pavillion at the Desert Botanical Gardens.
Fitness done together is more enjoyable than doing it on your own! More recently, several members have gotten together early in the morning before the mall opens to do laps, and then let the kiddies go to the play area.
