Personallity:
Edward Elric, the older of the two brothers, is charactaristically short (And sensitive about it).
But following the principles of equvalent trade, what he loses in height,
he gains in his abilities as an alchemist. Edward becomes the youngest
state alchemist in history, a prodigal genius.

As all state alchemists have, he is given a codename, Full Metal Alchemist,
rooting from his auto-mail (artificial metal) arm and leg.

In order to recover his original body, along with his brother, he travels
to find the philosopher's stone.

tears streaming down his face, Armstrong gets up and makes a dramatic pose,
sparkles appearing around him
Armstrong: Awe-inspiring! Such a bond! Such a display of brotherly love!
Ed: (interrupting) Back up, Major Spazz ... You're really getting in the way of the work here.
The sparkles around Armstrong fall to the ground

Ed: This pain is nothing... No matter how bad it is, it's nothing compared to his... Screen cuts to Alphonse, sitting outside

which is gods right. (Takes off coat) The sinners body."
Rosa: "You broke the most forbidden taboo! Your body was taken to the other side!"
Alphonse: "That is why his title is the Fullmetal Alchemist!"
