Description:
Hao is the evil twin brother of Yoh. He was actually part of the Patch Tribe 500 years ago, but he was amazed by the power of the great Spirits and wanted to be Shaman King so that he could rid the world of humans, or so everyone thought. In reality, he wanted to save the earth itself by killing those without shamanic power and respect for nature.

Hao was assassinated by the Asakura family, but since he had mastered all five elements, he had the power to reincarnate himself so that he could fight for the title of Shaman King. Yoh-mei tried to kill Hao when he was born, but his spirit protected him and his brother.
