| Farscape- The Good Guys... Ka'Dargo | |
 Ka'Dargo (Anthony
Simcoe) is a proud Luxan Warrior. Though still a young man
by his species reckoning, Dargo has grown from the role of fire-brand into
almost a steady hand. Dargo was falsely arrested for the murder of his Sebacian
wife, having been accused by his peacekeeper 'brother-in-law.' His
brother-in-law had killed his own sister out of his disgust of mixed
breeding.
His son, captured and held as a slave most of his life, was reunited with Dargo by Scorpius in exchange for Crichton, (who turned himself in and was later rescued.) Dargo's son, Jothee was at the time just coming into his own as a man, entering was is apparently a very long adolescence for Luxans. When his son and his lover (Chiana) coupled, it placed Dargo in a state that was nearly suicidal. His son (Jothee) then left the group to try and discover himself and his identity. The betrayal of the two that he loved most, as well as the death of Zhaan, acted as a catalyst of sorts for Dargo and after his initial depression and fury abated, he seemed to be a transformed man. He has almost developed a complete role reversal with John. At one time the character that always charged head first into danger, now he tempers himself, as well as urges caution when John's insatiable curiosity tends to lead them into obviously dangerous situations. Dargo's path is no longer set for him- he no longer seeks his son. He must search for a purpose and a goal as an outlaw and hunted man. Apparently his cool head has been noticed by the others on board Moya, as when Pilot asked that a Captain of sorts be selected from the crew Dargo was voted to the position with four votes to two (one vote for Scorpius from Sikozu and one vote for Rygel from duh Rygel.) |
