What is an M body?
The M body is any 77 and newer Dodge Diplomat, Plymouth Gran Fury, and Chrysler 5th Avenue or LeBaron. Related Vehicles are the F bodies (76-80 Volare, Aspen Road Runner and R/T) and the J bodies (80-83 Mirada and Cordoba). This modifications are applicable to them as well. Now onto the modifications
Here's a picture of the 78 M body "dual" exhaust.

This is my 87 Diplomat. The only modifications done to it so far are the MP electronic ignition kit, the MP viscous fan package, upgraded all the suspension to CopCar specs, added all the HD coolers and added a CopCar rear with a 2.94 SureGrip in it. This past weekend I added a factory cast iron 4bbl manifold, off an 86 Dodge van, and a Thermoquad off a 73 340. Replaced the stock nylon coated timing chain with a double roller and advanced the cam 4 degrees. Look it those fat tires! I just bought new meats for the old Warhammer. In the front are P235/60R15's and the rears are P255/60R15's! Yep them are some fat tires there. Is it me or is there a nice rubber rake to it? For those that wonder, the front rims are M body 15x7" rims and the rears are cop car 15x7" rims. Offsets are slightly different but what I like is the look of the cop rims. One day I'll clean and paint them, but then again looks are secondary.
