Mottoretti

These are a couple of CD's that are made up of contemporary jazz compositions written by myself and/or Darren Motamedy (the other "half" of Mottoretti).  I also have a few compositions on Tony Gable's "206" CD.  The CD entitled "First Generation" was recorded in 1989 and "Square One" was recorded in 1991.  All compositions were recorded / produced / mixed by us.  You can still hear cuts off of these CD's on "The Wave" (jazz syndicate) radio stations including "Futon Fun", "Camano Island" and others.  You also may hear this music in your favorite elevator and/or grocery store, as Muzak has been playing a number of cuts off of the CD's for years now (three cheers for ASCAP royalty checks!).  I've been playing the piano/keyboards since age 4 1/2.  You'll find more information about the CD's by clicking on the CD titles below.  Those "song links" with a symbol have a short Real Audio (.ra) sample available for download / listening.

Somethin' Else

Unfortunately, the record company that signed us with the first CD (First Generation) went out of business so to my knowledge, no distribution / copies are available. The 2nd CD (Square One) is being distributed locally in the Seattle Washington area by Darren Motamedy. Check Tower Records, the Silver Platter, etc.
