Well we've just had a very busy few days, driving plus the VR Gathering at the Museum, hence the delay in getting this update to you. Apologies !
First news is from Oxford Bus where Volvo/Plaxton Verde 625 has now re entered service in standard livery complete with the application of a white band between the red and blue. Work is under way on 617 now for its work on the X3 road to Abingdon. A small modification has taken place on Volvo/Plaxton Premiere coaches 1-4, R 1-4 OXF with the addition of a small destination box in the front nearside screen window, in the same fashion as the Excaliburs 5-12. Another unusual working was of Volvo/NC Paladin 651 on Saturday when this bus worked on 15 road to Wood Farm for most of the day. These ex London VNs are normally confined to the 4 road group of services. Finally the last delivery of new buses, 401-410, Dennis Dart SLF's with Wright Crusader Bodywork, delivered with silver wheels are now having these wheels repainted blue. They look very nice. It is always so noticeable that when wheels are clean, the whole bus looks somehow much better.
On the Stagecoach front Dennis Lance 903 has re entered service on the service 20 to Woodstock and Chipping Norton. Secondly we have at last secured a picture of Tube 20 on the X50 service in Woodstock. This was joined on this service last Sunday by ex National Expressliner J456FSR, nr 22. The London Olympians on loan for the Brookes contract are still hard at work in Oxford and last Thursday morning one was in service on the City Circle route 10.
No more Tube re registrations to report this week.

An interesting comparison can be gained between the old and revised livery.
