Welcome to Cool's #24 poems page!!

A WINNER INSIDE AND OUT

Sometimes in our lives, we meet people we truly do admire
They touch our hearts and set our souls on fire
So why shouldn't a NASCAR driver do the exact same
A driver like #24 who's desire burns like an eternal flame
Jeff Gordon is full of fire and it burns him through and through
And he puts his heart into all he does and his ambition is always true
His fans all adore him and love him for the person that he is
And whether you like him or not, you can't deny…he's the best in the biz
So if you ever wonder what the Rainbow Warrior is really all about
Just to sum it up, to the point…he's a winner….inside and out

A "Racin" Poem

They all line up
in two long rows
nervous and anxious to hear
the "Go Go Go's"!!!

They stomp it and turn
nudge and pass,
then into the pits
for tires and gas

"Thats Racin" they say
when they bump your side
into the wall, a spin,
your just along for the ride.

The yellow waves
the race to the line
watching pit road
for the "open" sign.

It's down to the wire
one lap to go
It must be a win
not place or show

Into the corner, it's #24 on top
and # 3 right below
#18's a comin with
his brother in tow.

The checkered is out
#24 to victory lane!!
Some boo, some cheer when
they announce his name.

My smile is enormous
I'm a fan for sure
Cause there's no one out there
like my beloved #24!!!!

"Chasin' A Rainbow"
" In fairy tales a story is told
Of a colorful rainbow and a pot of gold
We've all seen rainbows after a long rain
But there's a special kind of rainbow with its own name
This rainbow rides on Goodyears and has horses under the hood
A crew chief and a pit crew that's certainly very good
An appetite that's hungry and always wants more
And a big 24 on both of its doors
But something makes this rainbow one of a kind
A driver that races with his heart and his mind
He's young, ambitious and has a racing desire
He rushes through the pack like a burning fire
So next time you decide to chase a rainbow,
you better watch you step..
'Cause it could be the rainbow, everyone calls…JEFF.

The Warrior Inside
He comes through the turns like the speed of light
One blink of the eye and he's gone, clear out of sight
Back around he comes faster than before
He flies right by, you can hardly see the 24 on his door
What makes him so determined and so full of pride?
What else could it be but Jeff Gordon and the warrior inside.
Never Will They Fall
As a team they work together as teams are supposed to do
The triumphs they make together are far more than few
They tend to the every needs of the #24 Dupont ride
Whether in the garage or running in the turns three or four wide
The team that works together wins together and this team does it all
For more years to come, they'll continue to rise and never will they fall
Dedicated To The "Rainbow Warriors"
