RACE ON, DAVEY!!!

Davey Allison was born February 25, 1961 in Hollywood, Florida. He was taken from us in July, 1993 in a tragic helicopter accident. His death shocked the NASCAR community, coming just three short months after the death of Winston Cup Champion, Alan Kulwicki.

Davey had an impressive career during his short time with NASCAR. He was the 1987 Rookie of the Year. He is the only rookie in history to win two races during his rookie year(until Tony Stewart). He was also the winner of the 1992 Daytona 500. He left this world leaving quite an impression on everyone close to NASCAR. His fans miss him very much.
