I was born in Texas and have lived in Texas all my life. I am very proud to be a Texan.

I actully was born in BORGER, but at a very young age I moved to FRITCH. I lived there until I graduated from High School.

My senior year in High School I made first team All State at middle linebacker and recieved a four year football scholarship to WEST TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY. After three broken noses in a year and a half, I decided college football was not for me.

After I left College, I went back home and went to work at Phillips Petroleum Company. where I stacked ninety pound bales of rubber on an assembly line, operated a hundred pound jack hammer and learned to operate a fork lift, and being so dirty from carbon black that the only thing that would get me clean was Dawn Dishwashing Detergent. I knew that I wanted better things in my life.

I quit the job at Phillips Petroleum and moved to Dallas and found a job at Commonwealth Nation Bank of Dallas. I started out as a Teller, and then the Proof department, was promoted to collection manager and later assistant cashier and eventually Vice President where I made Consumer, Business and Real Estate loans. In the early to mid eighties, the Banking industry went south and I was laid off. The Bank failed later.

After the layoff, I had a decision to make. Should I find another job or go back to college. I decided to go back to college at THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT DALLAS where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting.

After getting my degree, I decided to go back into the Banking business and went to work at Inwood National Bank of Dallas as a Loan Officer and Vice President. I learned more there in a year and a half than I learned in over eight years at the previous bank. I was laid off again.

I then decided to try a different direction in my career and opened my own Insurance Agency. I have been running it now for eight years and have the freedom and the income that is not available in Banking.

Some of my interests include Designing Web Pages and riding my HARLEY.

I am married to a lovley lady named Lila Lynn. I have a teenage stepson named Brooks. In case you don't know, our Great State has a man of character and integrity as our Govener. I truly hope that George W Bush will be the next President of the United States of America, to restore the Office with the values intended by our Founding Fathers. Bill Clinton is the most corrupt President in the history of the office. It is my wish for any Politician to step down if they intentionally deceive the American people. It dosen't matter if you are Liberal or Conservative.
