I MISS MOULIN ROUGE! I miss putting huge amounts of eyeliner and mascara on and getting the satisfaction of seeing myself in the mirror afterwards when my face is all splotchy, and saying, "BOY IM UGLY! AAH!!!" I miss wearing my ode to MR t-shirt and getting queer looks from senior citizens. I miss singing so loudly that emily has to poke me and say, "SHUT UP NATALIE!!!SHHHH!!!!" I miss feeling odd when old people come sit next to me, and then the fun i have laughing as they get up and leave after the first ten minutes. I miss the urge to take my friend emily's stuffed frog and throwing it in the air when the duke says "my dear a little frog!" I miss the ability to recite every word from "there was a boy" all the way to "a love that will live forever." (i could do this after seeing moulin rouge for about the 7th time. Or maybe the 8th. cant remember now!) I miss the anger i get when someone asks me, "who the hell is ewan mcgregor? whats moulin rouge?" and then having to explain to them. I miss crying so loudly that members of the audience start to talk about how obnoxious I am. I miss dragging along my guyfriends and laughing insanely as they try to cover up their tears so I cant see. I miss the last time they sing come what may, and the sound of christian’s crying that makes me blubber even harder.
